Home/Accessibility
We want every person in the cities we serve to be able to read this site, find the phone number, and send the form, whatever device or assistive technology they use.
Green Rodent Chino Hills is a rodent only company, part of the Green Rodent Restoration brand, working from an office at 14738 Pipeline Ave #555 in Chino Hills. This website exists so that people can learn about our rodent control in Chino Hills, decide whether we are the right call, and reach us quickly when there is something in the attic. If any part of it gets in the way of that, we want to hear about it and we want to fix it.
We build this site to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.1 at Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium. Those guidelines describe how to make web content work for people who are blind or have low vision, who are deaf or hard of hearing, who use a keyboard or a switch instead of a mouse, and who have cognitive or learning differences. We treat Level AA as the floor, not the finish line, and we review the site against it whenever we add or change a page.
We do not claim a formal audit or a badge. What we can say is that the site was designed with these guidelines open on the desk, and that fixing a reported barrier goes ahead of publishing new marketing copy.
Two parts of the site come from outside services and we do not control how they are built. Two more limits are ours and we list them here as well.
The maps on the contact page and in the footer of every page are Google Maps embeds. They can be hard to use with a keyboard or a screen reader. The same information, our full address and a directions link, is written out in plain text beside each map, so nothing depends on the map itself.
The reviews page shows our Google reviews through a widget from Trustindex. The widget is loaded from their servers and its accessibility is theirs to maintain. If you cannot read the reviews there, call us and we will read them to you or point you to the same reviews on Google.
The pictures on this site are computer generated. They are there to show what a roofline gap, a contaminated attic or a finished job looks like, and they are not photos of a particular customer’s home. Every one has a written description, and none of the information on the page depends on seeing the picture.
The written content of this site is in English. Our phone line is answered in English and Spanish, so if you are more comfortable in Spanish, the quickest route is to call.
If you hit a barrier anywhere on this site, we would rather know today than have you give up and call someone else. Reach us any of these ways.
It helps if you tell us the page address, what you were trying to do, and the browser or assistive technology you were using. We will confirm we received the report and tell you what we plan to change. If the problem stops you from booking an inspection, say so and we will take the details over the phone instead.
Anything on this site can also be provided in another format on request. Call or email and tell us what would work for you.
The site is written in HTML, CSS and JavaScript. Before launch every page was checked with automated WCAG 2.1 AA tests (axe-core) in the three browser engines behind Chrome, Edge, Safari and Firefox, at phone and desktop widths, and every page passed with no violations. We also checked that each link, button and form field shows a visible focus ring when you move through the page with the keyboard, that the page still fits the screen at 200 percent zoom, and that with JavaScript turned off the content and the phone links still work, with the question and answer panels shown open instead of folding. Automated tests do not catch everything, and a screen reader session with a human user has not been run yet. If VoiceOver, NVDA or TalkBack trips over anything on this site, tell us and we will fix it.
This statement is reviewed whenever the site changes and at least once a year. The checks above were run on the launch build on that date.
Our privacy policy explains what happens to the information you send us through the form or by email.
The short version of how to reach us about this site.
Call and a person will take your details, read you anything on the page, or book the inspection for you.
