Home/Service Areas/Ontario
Ontario is a working city, and its rodents work too. Our rodent control in Ontario CA covers rats and mice in homes, restaurants, and warehouses, and we finish the job by sealing the building rather than baiting it.
Ontario mixes building types more than most cities we cover: 1920s bungalows on raised foundations near Euclid Avenue, restaurant rows on Mountain Avenue, and warehouses out by the airport. The rodents are the same two species everywhere. The buildings are not, and that is what the inspection sorts out.
Ontario has four rodent stories, and which one you are in depends on your address.
What to check first in Ontario: activity at floor level as well as in the ceiling. Burrows along a foundation, droppings behind a dock plate or under a sink, and rub marks along a slab edge point to Norway rats, and that fix starts at the ground. Roof rats still use the trees and rooflines, so the inspection covers both.
Order is everything. Trap without sealing and the building refills. Seal without trapping and you lock rodents inside a wall.
The sealing work is described in full on our rodent proofing page. If you have an active infestation in the house right now, start with rat removal.
Ontario carries a large share of the restaurants and warehouses in our service area, so this page covers both. Restaurants tend to call when a health inspection is coming or a customer saw something. Warehouses tend to call when an audit flags droppings or a rodent chews through a load.
The full program, including the recurring D.A.R.T. (Drive Away Rodent Traffic) maintenance option, lives on our commercial rodent control page.
In Ontario the case against rodenticide is a business case as much as an environmental one. A poisoned rat in a restaurant dies inside the wall behind the walk in cooler, and the smell arrives on a Friday night. In a warehouse, bait boxes along the fence keep the rats fed for years while the dock door gap never gets fixed. At home, secondary poisoning reaches the family dog and the owls that hunt the basins between the warehouses.
Sealing is finished on the last visit. Bait never is.
We do not quote over the phone, and the range in Ontario is wide because the buildings vary so much. A slab tract home with one roofline is a small job. A raised foundation house with a full perimeter to screen is a bigger one. A warehouse is priced on dock doors and penetrations. The inspection is free and the written quote is the number you pay.
Local vector control district. Ontario is served by the West Valley Mosquito and Vector Control District. The district office is on Locust Street in Ontario. Its technicians inspect the outside of a property for rodents and entry points and trap seasonally, a fair first call for advice. Indoor trapping, steel sealing and attic cleanup are private work, which is where we come in. Their number is (909) 635 0307.
We find the entry points and give you a written plan. No cost, no obligation. Se habla español.
A real person answers from 7am to 11pm every day at our Chino Hills office, in English or Spanish. Tell us what you found and where.
Every home we rodent proof and seal gets a warranty on that work. Ask us for the terms at your free inspection.
A straight run up the 71 and across the 60. Our office is on Pipeline Avenue in Chino Hills, close enough that coming back to check traps is routine.
Yes. We inspect dock doors, roll up doors, conduit penetrations, and drainage openings, trap the current population, seal the envelope with steel, and give you a written report and quote. If your current vendor runs a bait route around the fence and the rats keep coming, that is the situation we replace.
Urgent inspections are available for restaurants and other businesses, and a real person answers from 7am to 11pm every day. Call, tell us the date, and we will give you an honest answer about scheduling. We are not an overnight operation.
Raised foundations. The older homes around Euclid Avenue sit on a crawl space with vents around the perimeter, and Norway rats burrow under the stem wall or push through a torn vent screen. The inspection starts under the house, not on the roof.
No. We are rodent specialists, which means rats, mice, exclusion, and the cleanup that follows. We do not treat insects, termites, bed bugs, cockroaches, or mosquitoes. A restaurant that needs both needs a general pest company for the insects and us for the rodents.
Ontario is one of 19 cities we cover from Chino Hills. This page is part of our wider rodent control in Chino Hills service, and the full list lives on our service areas page.
